After two and a half years, the refurbishment plans for Level 5, incorporating a total upgrade for the Boronia Dining Room, the Tarban Club and the Vista Lounge, was put to the Owners' Corporation for their consideration at an Extraordinary General Meeting.

The refurbishment of Level 5 also includes improvements to the reception area, a salon for visiting hairdressers, manicurists and podiatrists, as well as an overnight room for care staff that will also serve as a clinic for the visiting General Practitioners.

The decision of the Owners' Corporation to accept the plans presented by Boronia Retirement Services means that a development application can now be ldoged with Hunters Hill Council for their approval.

The refurbishment will bring Hunters Hill Lodge in line with with the exepctations of the current generation of residents.

Subject to council approval the work is expected to be completed prior to the end of 2008.
