Hunters Hill Lodge

A retirement village with serviced apartments caters for those retirees who are looking for basic support in their day-to-day living.

By having staff available 24 hours a day, residents  have the piece of mind knowing that help is at hand.

At the same time, retirees who like the idea of someone else cooking for them, cleaning their apartment and taking care of the minor maintenance of their home, find Hunters Hill Lodge to be the perfect serviced lifetsyle.

Hunters Hill Lodge is a strata titled retirement village, meaning that residents own their apartment as well as a share of the entire property.

Included in the monthly levy are:

  • Basic care services - 30 minutes per week of care services by a registered nurse is made available to you during the week. Aditional care services are charged at $27.50 per hour.
  • Housekeeping services - Our friendly housekeeping staff will visit your apartment once a week and clean all rooms as well as wash your heavier laundry items, bed sheets and towels.
  • Catering services - Dinner and tea is served each day at 12.30pm and 5.30pm respectively. This service is in the Boronia Dining Room. Residents are able to order any supplies they need to prepare breakfast in their rooms on a weekly basis.
  • Outings - Residents are able to go on any of the two standard weekly bus trips. After dinner on Mondays, residents are taken to the Macquarie Centre and on Thursday afternoon there is a destination trip, the details of which are available at Reception. Seats are limited for both trips, and residents are asked to book in advance. Where additional trips are arranged, a small fee may be charged.
  • Maintenance - Hunters Hill Lodge has a handyman who can carry out small tasks in your apartment. In instances where you require more involved work, a small fee may be charged according to the time and materials required.

Residents pay two separate levies. The first is a strata levy which is payable to the Owners Corporation. This covers the cost of maintaining and improving the building.

A second levy payable to Hunters Hill Lodge covers all of the Basic Services provided to residents. If a resident requests additional services they will receive an additional account.

On leaving the village the operators are entitled to retain a portion of the amount you resell your unit for. This is based on a formula agreed when you buy your unit.

All fees are outlined in detail in the Disclosure Statement provided to prospective residents.
