Community Living

There are many organisations which represent particular community living stakeholder groups. These groups are an important part of the overall process as they enable likeminded people to focus what is important to them.

The Community Living Network brings together the often competing interests of staff,  residents, developers and others through a best practice environment which addresses all the key business areas to ensure the ongoing operational and promotional success of a community living project for the shared benefit of all.

Yes. Anyone with an interest of building a sustainable community, whether as a developer, resident, family and friends, advisors, staff or others are welcome to become a part of the Network.

People can collaborate on a number of different levels which start from this readily accessible public arena and evolve to fully functional management and learning systems.

Residents play an important role in their community operating properly. Despite there being managers and staff on hand to assist them, residents generally have an important role to play in determining how the community runs. The Community Living Network can help residents understand the benefits of supporting a best practice aproach to the operations of their community.

Best practice can help to protect the quality of life enjoyed by residents, as well to protect the value of their home in the longer term.

People belong to a community environment with a range of interests. Everyone from residents to developers, staff to the broader external community, have an interest that can be affected. When these interests are balanced, the sustainability of the community is maintained both financially and socially.

Whilst everyone lives in some type of community, our focus is on those purpose built communities such as gated estates, strata schemes, manufactured home parks, lifestyle resorts and retirement villages. These communities are comprised of people with a range of different interests which if properly balanced will ensure everyone obtains the best outcomes both now and in the future.
